After some hemming and hawing and a very inspiring time at Complex Weavers Seminars this past summer I have ordered a TC2 loom from Digital Weaving Norway. They have been patient and great to work with and I understand it will be shipped at the end of THIS month.
I’m going to try to make a record of my learning journey, a trip that promises many detours, catastrophes and little hidden gems discovered along the way.
My loom-to-be, name to be determined when we get to know each other, is 3 units wide, has a single back beam and will come with 9 modules of 220 threads each. That will give me 43 inches of weaving at 45 ends per inch, 28 inches at 60 ends per inch or 14 inches at 135 ends per inch – at least to start.
It will join my all Louet family of looms – 8 shaft Jane, 16 shaft Jane, 12 Shaft Delta and my 32 shaft Megado (so far, the best loom in the world IMHO).
