Tis the season to gather up a bunch of textiles and make my way to Callanwolde, the arts center where I teach weaving to the best students ever. This year I focused on bags made from waxed linen and handwovens from the TC2 and Megado and a bunch of Summer and Winter tea towels made on a very long singles linen warp. Winter House starts November 29 and runs for a few weeks. Proceeds go to Callanwolde and artists and includes painting, ceramics, jewelry and a few textiles.

I ordered a nice folding and expandable shelf system that was just the ticket – fits in my car, light enough for me to handle up stairs and fitted with lots of bars on the sides to hang towels and whatnot. Hopefully things will sell making more space in my house for more weaving!
